    Hi everyone!
I don't know how to say this in English: 'a mi amigo le han descendido en el trabajo. Antes era encargado, ahora es solo supervisor.'

I'm not sure if I can use the word 'relegate' as it sounds more for sports to me, anyway: 'my friend has been relegated at work. He was a manager, now he is just a supervisor.'

    Cheers!

"Demoted" is the usual word in the US. It's the opposite of "promoted."
