Hi,

I was wondering in the following phrase if the last two 'de' are needed; I want to get accross the point that it is a summary 'of' the regional news, then of spanish news and finaly of world news, but I'm not sure whether to keep the last two 'de'.



Dado que el informativo es emitido en el norte, después de las noticias principales hay un resumen de algunas noticias regionales y después de las noticias de España y finalmente de las noticias del mundo.

If you split the sentence you´ll get:

Dado que el informativo es emitido en el norte, después de las noticias principales hay un resumen:

1- De algunas noticias regionales
2- De las noticias de España
3- De las noticias del mundo

Hay tres resúmenes, that´s why you have to use three “de”.

Another example:

¿Dónde venden caramelos?
1-En las tiendas.
2-En los supermercados.

There two places where they are sold. That´s why you need two “en”.
