Hola a todos.. estoy haciendo una traducción sobre el diagnóstico de vehículos.. y me cuesta un poco encontrar un equivalente parala siguiente frase:

Original:
Diagnose as trouble when the PCV valve and the crankcase or the PCV valve and the intake manifold are disconnected.

Traducción:
Constituye una falla cuando la válvula PCV y el cárter, o la válvula PCV y el conector de escape esté desconectado.

    That's the basic idea, although in English it is a command, telling the reader how to diagnose that situation.

    By the way, I think it should be "...estén desconectados"

    Is the acronym PCV used in Spanish? It stands for positive crankcase ventilation.

    And isn't a manifold a colector rather than a conector?

    Finally, intake is admisión, not escape.

    By the way, yes: Ventilación Positiva de la Caja de Cigüeñal, but it seems the acronym PCV is used in the same order.
