    Dear Forum members,

How do you write "diakonia" in Greek? Is it
"διακονια"? I read that this word means "service", but when I look up the latter, I do not get "διακονια", but "εξυπηρέτηση".

It is 'διακονία'. Now it depends entirely on what kind of service is in question. In this case the word is used, I would say exclusively, for work associated with church and its ministery. We would not thank the waiter for his διακονία, but for his εξυπηρέτηση.
