How would you say, "the voice makes it dificult to be repressed"...

La voz se dificulta ser reprimida...o la voz dificulta la represión

Cual te suena mejor?

    I guess that a more literary (rather than literal) translation would fare best.
    So, here is how I would translate the part of your phrase that includes the word "dificulta":

    However, speaking up makes repression more difficult and is a form to criticize ...

    Sin embargo, el poder de la palabra dificulta la represión y critica a lo que desea...
