Hi,

I was talking about the environment with one of my friends and we both complained on the extreme weather then I said:

We're digging grave for ourselves.

I found the idiom valid but I wonder if I can use it in this way? Or should I say:

We're digging our own grave.

Thanks a lot

    Hi, Silver.

"We're digging a grave for ourselves" is fine. "We're digging our own grave" is also fine.
