Dingo's breakfast

I am guessing that it is an Australian extension of the idiom "a dog's dinner".

"to make a dog's dinner of something" is to do something badly, or to ruin something.

A "dingo" is a type of wild dog found in the Australian outback, and I am guessing that your context uses "dingo's breakfast" in the same way you would hear "a dog's dinner".

Any Aussie's around who can confirm?
