Hi all,

Can you help in linguistically analyzing the following text in terms of its grammar; it is very confusing to me as it does not have any sentences, yet, it should be translated! (how can any one express ideas without using sentences!!)

RTA, severe head injury, spastic quadriplegia. CT showed lesions in the brain. Vegetative state with severe cognitive impairment. Severe contractures of upper and lower extremities. Muscle tone normal. ROM of joints normal. Absent hand function. ALOC. WBC no good... severe cognitive impairment. MRSA.

Thanks

These are notes. There is no intention or need to be grammatical (in fact grammar may get in the way, and waste time), it is a list of the diagnostic findings of a medical expert, either for their own use, or for other specialists who understand the format.

Would you, for instance, expect grammar in a shopping list? It's really much the same.
