My heart is in my stomach = je suis nerveux/anxieux
my stomach is fluttering, I am nervous/worried (unlike the French version!)

    Here are another two for the list..

    - to have one's heart melt...
    To have a feeling of empathy, sympathy or pity towards a person or event. Also used to describe a "romantic" kind of feeling.


    - heart (gut) wrenching ... (adj)
    Used to describe an experience that is extremely emotionally difficult.
