Square
- fair and square - very fairly
- square up to somebody - to get ready to have a fight with him/her
- (look at somebody) square on - he's facing you
- 3 square meals - you should have 3 square meals a day (full ones, not snacks - breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- he's a square (he's very academic/bookish)
- (you'll get) square eyes - from looking at the TV or computer too much (same shape as the screen)
- (moving into different) circles - e.g. a working class person socialising with upper class people would be said to be moving into a different circle. Circles are quite sophisticated; I don't know if this could work the other day round.
- Going round in circles - literally or metaphorically, you aren't getting anywhere, you just keep going over the same ground.
Triangle
- a love triangle - esp. when someone is having an affair, there is a love triangle - 3 people involved.
- you'd better shape up (cos I need a man
!) - you'd better improve yourself
- (people come in) all shapes and sizes
