Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to translate "to dismiss as luck" in French. It is a bit more of a creative text and I don't necessarily want to stick to English too closely. Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Of course, of course.
This is the sentence: "When we succeed we often dismiss it as luck, but when we fail we think about our lack of ability."

"quand on réussit, on met souvent ça sur le dos de la chance " ? (not really formal though)

It's not a super formal text in English, but it might need to be a bit more formal in French =/
    Thank you for the suggestion!

That works well! I was looking for a word like "blame", but I wasn't sure what to look for. Thank you! :)
