What do you usually call the monitors at the airport listing the arrival and departure times?

a) display
b) monitors

Sorry but I don't really understand your reply. Are you saying that they're called monitors? (So you'd never call the information displays / screens?)

We, meaning the domestic airports that I frequent, call them "monitors."

I'm sure, however, that you can find somebody who calls them 'screens' or "displays."

The answer to your question will depend on who answers it - all are possible, and people's individual use is personal rather than specific to AE, BE or other forms of English. That makes this a research question rather than a specific question about a word or phrase in a complete sentence with context and background.

Thus this question is outside the scope of the English only forum.
