Hi everyone, I need your ideas about the difference among " distinctly", " surely" and " toatlly" in this sentence:
Where's my bag ? I ____ remember leaving its here.
A.distinctly B. surely C. fully D. totally
The answer is A. I think that "distinctly + remember + doing something " while " fully/ totally/ surely + remember + something ". Is it right? Thanks for any help .

A is definitely right, but I doubt that your rules are universally correct, e.g. I distinctly remember you and the way you acted at the party the other night.
