Does the English phrase, "divine intervention," translate literally?

divine intervention = la intervención divina? Or is there a more natural translation?

Thanks!

Ok, thanks. And another question! Does this sound strange?

"Te juro que algo divino nos ha intercedió este fin de semana". The context is informal, like saying, "I swear to god we experienced a divine intervention this weekend." Thanks!
