Is this expression right?

The theoretical part contains the division and classification of the child´s age (children´s age/child age/children age/child development), with mentioning possible health risks to each stage.

Is there any other word to replace "child´s age" meaning that there are like 6 stages in child development (age)

I´ve encountered the expression "child development" quite frequently while browsing on Google Books - but the Czech translation keeps nagging me to include the word "child" or "chlidren´s" or "child´s"

I believe that was what morzh meant: ...the division and classification of children's developmental stages...
