Do scissors/hook

Is it correct to understand "do scissors" as to sharpening scissors?
I guess that with "gut hooks" it also refer to edges blade?
and It's not mentioned in the video, but after looking in Google, I believe "gut hooks" actually refer to knives?

It also has two grit belts, these are to put the initial edge on your blade so really just to shape it. And then we have 6000 grit belts these are for putting the final hone on your blade. These are also used to do scissors serrated edges and gut hooks.

    These are also used to do (sharpen) 1) scissors, 2) serrated edges (blades with serrated edges), and gut hooks (gut hook knives).
    A gut hook knife is a type of knife.
