How to check if a person person hanging around belongs to that place?

Do you belong to this place ? ( Are you a native of this place) or ( Are you a resident of this place?)

Do you belong to this place ? is not correct,
I have heard "Do you belong around here?" this sounds like an abrupt adult speaking to a child.
Are you a native of this place? is a bit strange...it sounds very impolite.
Are you a resident here? is OK
Do you reside in this area? ('reside' can sound a bit "posh" to some)
Do you live here?
Are from around here?
Do you live around here?
Is your home in this area?

However, I think it would be better to make a statement instead of putting it in the form of a question (since it's obvious that you already know that the person doesn't belong in the area.

"Excuse me sir, but this ________ is for use by residents only!"
