Is it right to translate the sentence below?
Hai voglia di qualche caramella?
Would you like some sweets?
Si so che esiste anche quel modo per fare le richieste,ma volevo sapere se è giusto anche cosi.
Do you feel like having some sweets? perfetto
Do you feel like a drink? ti andrebbe un drink?
Corretto, però credo che non si usi molto.
We use it all the time!
Do you feel like going to the movies? Do you feel like popcorn? Do you feel like riding your bike to the park? Do you feel like going to Italy this summer?
Thank you for the clarification!
I have always seen would you like as a formal way to say this, can you confirm?
ti va and ti andrebbe, right?
It is more polite, but also used commonly and frequently.
To children: Would you like some mustard to go with your hot dog?
To you boss: Would you like the report on your desk by three?
Yes, both ti va and ti andrebbe are fine.
Separate names with a comma.
