Two sentences:

Sentence A: "Do you know who is the writer of this book?"
Sentence B: "Do you know who the writer of this book is?"

Which one is correct? Or both of them are correct?

    'who the writer of this book is' is an indirect (embedded) question. Indirect questions have the same structure of affirmative constructions (SVO). The direct question is 'Do you know...'
