dog might keeping pushing its muzzle against you

Senior Member
It's a kind of metaphor. Imagine how a horse or dog might keep pushing its muzzle against you when it wants to be petted/fed. I imagine this "thought" keeps trying to get his brain's attention in the same manner - it's a nagging that he can't ignore.

Q: What does 'keep push' mean here? Thanks...

The link you provide shows that "keeping pushing" is not English.

You can say "keep pushing," meaning "push until something intervenes to stop it."
