    Os agradecería mucho si podrían explicarme el final de la siguiente frase:

    "Peor: es un pálido actor de reparto –ha desempeñado un papel muy secundario en el Ateneo de la Juventud (un “cuasi-ateneísta”, así lo consideraba Henríquez Ureña) y otro aún más marginal dentro de la Revolución mexicana, donde sigue las espaldas de caudillos a los que desprecia."

    Aqui es mi intento:

    Worse, he is a pale shade of a supporting actor. In el Ateneo de la Juventud he had played a small supporting role (a “cuasi-ateneísta,” according to Henríquez Ureña) and in the Mexican revolution he had been even more marginal, following...?

    Thanks! I wasn't sure if the 'los que desprecia' made reference to the caudillos or something else.
