Hi, everyone, what do you think of the following sentence?

Don't mistakenly point the finger at me.
Does this sentence sound ok?
Does it make sense?

Thanks for your comments.

It sounds ungainly, but it makes sense.

More likely someone that feels that he or she is being unfairly accused of something will simply say "don't point the finger at me". The context will usually make it clear that the person feels that he or she is being wrongly blamed.
