B: Maybe but I don't promise you anything.



Can I say that I don't promise you anything?

Is this well worded or should I use another word to express the same thing?

Even to me ,a BE speaker,this sentence sounds more natural and fluid.

This sounds more natural to me

"I'm not promising you anything" sounds most natural to me, but "I can't promise you anything" and "I won't promise you anything" are also possible.
