Hi, I'm doubtful about the correct way to say this sentence:

    Don't take it personal/personally

I've always heard "don't take it personal", I mean while watching tv series, but I found this other sentence "don't take it personally" on google. So, what is it? are they both the same or wich one is correct?

Btw, this means something like "no te lo tomes a pecho", right?

    Thanks in advance.

Don't take it personally. Don't take it personal is not correct!!
Yes – don't take it to heart. Right! :)
