Hi all,

How would I say 'I don't want to rush it'. Like if somebody asks me to do something but I have to say no because I don't have time to do a good quality job.

Would it be something like 'Je ne veux pas me bousculer'?

Thanks in advance.

Je ne veux pas me précipiter, rather  That being said, I think I'd be more likely to say Je n'ai pas envie de le faire à l'arrache ("faire quelque chose à l'arrache" is an idiom, fairly informal -- you might want to use "à la hâte" or "dans la précipitation" instead if you don't want to sound too informal) or Je n'ai pas envie de le faire « vite fait bien fait ».

Or, twisting the usual expression to get the point accross: Je ne voudrais pas que ça soit du "vite fait, mal fait".
