Se llama double-arm suture (sutura de doble brazo) y se usa para suturas quirúrgicas.

Al parecer esto que encontraste en internet es una mala traducción de "double armed needle"

Initially I thought this possibly represented a specialty needle with which I was unfamiliar as an ER physician. However, I can find double armed needles ( which I knew about) but no double armor needles when I search major medical supply catalogues online. I think your source may have used the wrong word.
