    Tied with two chains, which suggests a high level of security. Which is odd, if that person then does not come back for the bike.

    Suzi, I think the idea is that the character is so stupid (see the title) that he thinks that a bike secured with chains was "abandoned."

    Well sure, I am not the sort to understand this movie. Though I do take my bike security very seriously!
