Hi,

"doubling the discharge energy in plasma process, increases the formation of active radicals such as O2, N2, CO, and CO2 as compared with low voltages."

by "doublign" I want to convey a passive meaning; i.e., "the discharge energy being doubled...". Does the sentence convey the same thing?

Thanks!

Hi cigogne, it is not exactly passive, but in technical writing, this is the normal and correct way of saying what you mean to say (without the comma after process).
