doze tree guys

I don't take in the phrase " doze tree guys" in below text:

In return, Southerners can wonder aloud about what a tree guy is in Brooklyn, since they have heard Brooklyn speakers refer to doze tree guys.

Would you kindly explain? (My best suggestion is " Those three guys" but in my language we pronounce three and tree, doze and those alike!)
