Poate explica cineva ce înseamnă această locutiune "drept geam"?

...şi se poate traduce ca "as for the window" (care înseamnă în engleză: cu privire la geam ... sau aşa ceva)?

    hello,

    drept geam means replacing the window, used as a window, serving as a window (don't know if this is correct in eng, sounds more like french)
    and in this situation, drept is a preposition

    other examples:

    1 Foloşeşte o pătură drept/pe post de perdea. - He uses a blanket as curtain.
    Copilul are un băţ drept cal. - The child has a stick for his horse. ( replaces the horse with a stick)

    2 Mă iei drept prost? - Do you think I'm stupid?/ Do you consider me to be stupid?
    L-am luat drept o fată. I thought him to be a girl/ I have mistaken him for a girl(because of his long hair)
    a lua drept altcineva = to consider someone to be what he/she is not

    "as for the window" is translated "cât despre fereastră", "în ce priveşte fereastra"
