Hello everyone,

From the book 99: Stories of the Game by Wayne Gretzky:

"For a good, skilled team, they were also very tough. After Bob Probert left, they didn’t dress an enforcer—and Probert was a lot more than an enforcer, since he could play the game and put the puck in the net. Detroit was ahead of its time by building a team around high-end skill guys who knew how to handle themselves"

What does "dress" mean here?

Thank you.
