Dropping الذي

Hello! I have a question and would appreciate your help.

In Al-Kitaab, it says that when we describe an indefinite noun, we we write complete sentencing without adding any linking words. For example:

تكمت عن فيلم شاهدته

But, I know that there "which" and "that" can be expressed with الذي، التي etc.

Are there specific cases when we use them?

  • When the noun preceding it is definite.

    تكلمت عن فيلم شاهدته
    تكلمت عن الفيلم الذي شاهدته

When the noun preceding it is definite.
What would you say about the following:

Maybe this الذي is by itself? Like هو الذي خلق لكم ما في الأرض جميعا?
