due for the period ... should be received by ...

¡Hola a todos!, Hi everyboy! :)

(For english or spanish speakers) :)



Could somebody tell me what "due" means in the following context? I don't understand why in the first statement appears 3 days and 2 in the others.

First payment - due 3rd Octuber for the period 26th September to 17th October. (¿?)

Second payment - due 17th October and should be received by the 23rd

Third payment - due 14th November and should be received by the 21st

    Yes I agree but the wording is strange as it differs in the 3 examples.

    1st - states the period of time the payment covers but only gives 1 due date (3rd October)

    2nd and 3rd - do not state the period of time the payment covers but gives 2 due dates; due on the first date but can be paid up until the second date.

    Does that make sense? I have no chance of explaining it in Spanish!
