Hola,

Quisiera saber cómo se diría "efecto dominó" en inglés.

Encontré estas expresiones, no sé si sean correctas:

- Domino effect
- snowball effect

¿Qué dicen ustedes?

Gracias.

    Hello.

The domino effect is the correct translation. This is where one action causes a reaction and it causes another. That is, one action causes a chain reaction. The size of the reaction does not necessarily increase in size.

The snowball effect is where something starts and it grows and grows and grows (gets bigger and bigger by the moment).

I agree, and will only add that we also have the verb "to snowball," which refers to the same thing.

    Ex.
His debt started small, but has snowballed to the point that it is out of control.
