ei mitään tietty

I was on the train the other day, and heard this word spoken:

A train stopped at a station and won't start, and a conductor doesn't say anything on the loudspeaker.

A lady asks what happens to the train. The other person answers that she didn't know and adds: "Ei mitään tietty" (if I heard it correctly)

Is this the usual way to express something that they didn't know?

Probably: "Ei mitään tietoa." = No idea/knowledge/information whatsoever.
