In business letter, when you mention the place of meeting , Can i say " in one's place as follows? ( also, if you see any other mistakes, let me know)

I would like to see you in person to talk about the latest issue either in your place or in my place.

  • You would say "I would like to see you in person to talk about the latest issue, either at your place or mine."

You would only say that, however, if you were talking about holding the meeting at your house/place of residence or at their house/place of residence. "My place" means where I live, not my place of work.

To suggest your office or their office, you could say "I would like to see you in person to talk about the latest issue, either at your office or mine."

I have used "your place or mine?" at work, as a way to get information and add a little informal humor on the side. :) But I wouldn't advise anyone to use it whose co-workers might not be as understanding as mine.

As AWordLover suggests, I would only put "Your place of business or mine." As Forero suggests, it can be taken the wrong way without the of business. "Your place or mine?" is a catch-all phrase in movies where two people meet in a bar for a drink and are going to take their date to the next level. "Your place or mine?" suggests that they will go to one place or the other to finish what they have on their minds, and what cannot be done in public without being arrested....
