Ya ves tú si no es pa comer
y toavía el garrulo de turno viene
y me pregunta que si es pa comer

These are lyrics from a song by 'Ojos de Brujo'. How would "el garrulo de turno" be translated into English?

Thanks

    Hello,

"garrulo" is a derogatory term usually referred to peasants. It's something like "hick"; used for beast, fool, boorish people.

And about "de turno"... actually it doesn't means that it's always the same person who does that action, it's more like the expression "the inevitable idiot"... it's not always the same, but there's always one!

So it could be something like: "and yet the inevitable idiot/hick asks me if this is for eating".

    Hope it helps
