Quand mon cœur s'arrête, je regarde par la fenêtre
Mais le monde, je ne le vois pas
La pluie se répète, elle n'en fait plus qu'a sa tête
Et les gens sont au cinéma

Bonjour a tous,

I know about "se prendre la tete", but I've never heard this one -- I have a feeling it's maybe sort of the opposite in meaning?

Merci

    Hi floppydream,

N'en faire qu'à sa tête means to be self-centered, to do what one likes with no regard for anyone else. Here, the rain is personified: The rain (elle) no longer (ne...plus) does anything but go on and on pouring down (se répète)--"doing what it wants to do" (with no regard for anyone else). ;)

Sorry, let me rephrase that: it looks like the connotation is very negative according to your def. Could it ever be neutral or even positive?
