Hi,

Automatic speech (also known as embolalia) consists of

words not directly under the control of person's conscious

mind. Such speech includes filler words (such as "like", "er"

and "uhm") and certain kinds of profanity.


What is the French word for "embolalia/automatic speech" ?

Is it l'embolie ?
