Embouchure

Does anybody know the Spanish equivalent for "embouchure"? It is the term for the way you situate your lips when playing a wind instrument. The closest thing I could find was "boquillo," which only seems to apply to pipes and things of that nature.

No sé cómo se dice en español, porque no soy experto en música.
Pero "boquillo" no existe en español. Sería "boquilla" y eso se refiere a la parte de la pipa que se pone en los labios, no a los labios.
    Un saludo.

Embouchure can have 2 meanings: one is the way you hold your lips, the other is the actual mouthpiece. I don't know if there is a Spanish word for the first one, but the word for the mouthpiece itself is boquilla. If I were trying to use the word in the first way, I would say "posición en boquilla" but I don't know if this is the best choice.

At a recent tag sale, I bought a Frances-Castellano dictionary for ten cents. I never thought I'd use it, but I cannot resist a bargain!

Well - we're using it! It says ...

    embouchure ... desembocadura
