Hi everyone

I'm wondering: can I say embroidery sessions if I'm talking about a woman who does that as an occupation in the 19th century or "sessions" only apply to a workshop or something done in group?

thanks in advance

Hi Brainstorming. Can you give us the full sentence you're planning to use this in?

For me an embroidery session would be 'a period of time spent doing embroidery, either alone or with friends, most probably for pleasure'.
