Good afternoon, I'm not sure, but the test I have with me says that all these sentences are correct, can someone pelase confirm me that?

  • […]
  • It is necessary that the lady see a doctor at once.
I would have put […] sees […], but apparently that's wrong, so please could someone explain me that.
Thanks in advance, Cordeli.

The subjunctive here (see) is certainly correct, but you could hear "sees" - particularly in colloquial speech. However, part of the issue is that in English an impersonal form such as "it is necessary that..." is already a formal construction not usual in speech or relaxed writing so you would tend to continue to use formal grammar. This would normally be expressed as "the lady needs to see a doctor at once" and so avoids the problem.
