French from Paris area
What would be the translation of "Energie primaire" into English ?
The "Energie primaire" is the real energetic cost of a specific use.
For instance, in France, the rules tell us that if you use in a building 1 electric kWh, it is in fact 2.58 kWh that had been required to produce it at the power plant and transmit it to the "final user".
By the way, if anyone knows if other countries use other ratio of conversion, it would be nice to know.
