Which of the following verbs is used more often in colloquial speech: enlever ou kidnappé? Is it more colloquial to say, "Les ravisseurs ont enlevé le gosse du centre-commercial," or "Les ravisseurs ont kidnappé le gosse du centre-commercial." Merci comme toujours! :)

Both can be said, but I'd say "kidnapper". But "ravisseur" is a bit formal in front of "gosse".
We'd say either (formal) "Les ravisseur ont kidnappé (or enlevé) l'enfant dans le centre commercial" or (colloquial) "Le gosse a été kidnappé (or enlevé) au centre commercial"

    I think both are correct...
You can use "enlevé" for many other things. "kidnappé" seems more precise.

    corrections welcome..
