Hi everyone! I don't understand the word "entropy". I know it is a thermodynamics term but I don't know how it makes sense here.

the context is as follows:

    Entropy is the tendency to progress from an organized state to a less organized state--increasing disorder. The writer has given an explanation in the final clause: destruction is easier than maintenance.
