EPA window sticker

Hi, everyone!

The following is again from Ford Focus Owner's Manual:

EPA window sticker
Every new vehicle should have the EPA window sticker. Contact your authorized dealer if the window sticker is not supplied with your vehicle.
The EPA window sticker should be your guide for the fuel economy
comparisons with other vehicles.

What does "EPA window sticker" mean?

Thank you!

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) tests cars to find out their gas mileage (how many miles they can drive per gallon of gas). Car dealers put the results of the test on a sticker on each new car, often called the EPA window sticker. An EPA window sticker might read "18 mpg city/ 25 mpg highway" meaning that the car gets 18 miles per gallon in stop-and-go traffic, and 25 on the highway.

    Hope this helps.
