Can you please help me? It is for an English project. What would you choose?
1) Erase an email
2) Delete an email

Student in Help, we need the complete sentence in which you would use the phrase, and the context in which you would say or write the sentence.

In the absence of context I would say "delete an e-mail" which is what we typically hear/use. The full picture would help us in helping you.:)

Welcome, Student in Help! I agree that the collocation (words that go together) is "to delete an e-mail", as we say here in the WR forums, for instance; I don't think I've ever heard "erase an e-mail".
