Example sentence/context:
Trato de saber que significa en cuestion de Impuestos las siglas "ERO" léase "USA "IRS".

La abreviatura se usa en muchos campos. Por ej. Microsoft la usa:

"The External Research Office (ERO) of Microsoft Research Cambridge, England
was formed... The ERO is driving the Microsoft European Science Initiative. ...

I found it in the Form 8453 (IRS Tax Declaration) in the part C reading as follows:

"Under penalties of perjury, I declare that the information I have given my ERO and the amounts in Part I above agree with the amounts on the corresponding lines of the electronic portion of my 2002 Federal income tax...
Later on in the same paragraph:

"I also consent to the IRS sending my ERO and/or transmitter an acknowledgment of receipt...

    I did tried acronymfinder.com, and found the following, which I post for the benefit of someonelses (Is this correct?):

    ERO: - Electronic Return Originator (US Internal Revenue Service).
