Hello, are esclafits a music instrument, too? Or does it mean snaps? I see that phrase "esclafits i castenyetes" in folkloric videos on Yutube.

I've never heard it used for an instrument. An esclafit is, as you say, a snap, a burst. Or, when talking about winds, a downburst. It might just be the name of the band?
