Yes, that is exactly what it means, and it is extensively used in English medical reports as well: "deferred."

Disculpad pero personalmente no entiendo el original así; se trata de parte de una exploración general donde se indica primero el resultado de una auscultación abdominal ("peristalsis normal...") y donde no tendría mucho sentido posponer ¿el qué estomacal?

"Estomacal diferido" debe hacer referencia muy probablemente a la periatalsis aunque confieso que no se me ocurre a qué exactamente -y empiezo a considerar la posibilidad de que se trate de un typo.

Tienes razón en que, en contexto, no parece significar nada. Me atrae tu teoría de que pueda tratarse de un error tipográfico o "typo."

Aunque la "distancia" es grande, "estoma con contenido" (versus "estomacal diferido") tendría todo el sentido en el contexto dado. Sería interesante saber algo más del paciente en cuestión y de su situación clínica. Como dicho, no se me ocurren posibilidades con sentido para la expresión literal.
